The advantages of betting on total in comparison with the result of the match are the choice of two options instead of three, as well as the possible entry of the bet even with an erroneous prediction. The method under consideration provides for bets on goals in a football match, namely, on the following outcomes:
- Total over 2.5;
- Total under 2.5;
- TB 2.5 + Both To Score.
The system almost does not limit the selection of tournaments. The main thing is that at least 6 games are played. This is due to the fact that the form of the opponents for 6 past matches is analyzed, and taking into account the performance in the previous season can distort the current state of the opponents.
Don't bet on cup events where motivation is often the determining factor. For this reason, it is better to exclude derby and principled confrontations.
Choose the fights of teams that in the previous 6 rounds of the championship played at least 4 times on one of the standard totals – over or under 2.5.
Additionally, differentiate between home matches and away matches. The first team on its own must play for the chosen total at least twice in the four previous rounds, and the second team – the same number of times, but on foreign territory.
Study the statistics of head-to-head meetings – at least two of the last four confrontations should end with the required total.
If the opponents have recently shown increased performance (TB confidently breaks through), then the odds for the top total will be low. In this case, combine TB 2.5 with both goals.
Financial management:
- The rate is 3% if the quotation is less than 1.8;
- Bet 1.5% of the bank when the coefficient is from 1.8;
- Both scores 1% on the variation + total over 2.5.
The main difficulty of the system is that, in fact, it is not very often possible to find events that would meet the criteria. It is better to skip the fights of super-productive clubs, because it is inappropriate to issue an ordinary for TB 2.5 for a coefficient of 1.25.
An example of using the strategy
Open the Italian Championship on Flashscore (formerly Myscore service). Go to the “Table” tab and select “Over / Under”. By default, the total is set to 2.5, which is what you need.
Only the last 5 matches are displayed in the table (plus is TB, and minus is TM). Look for meetings of the highest performing teams. Hover your cursor over the question mark to see who the opponent will play against in the next round – compare the performance. For example, attention was drawn to Milan, which will meet with Sampdoria.

The hosts have hit the top total three times in their home field in 4 recent Serie A matches, as have the away guests. The statistics of face-to-face duels are also suitable.
Let's say we have 1,000 rubles in the bank. The coefficient on TB is 2.5 – 1.62. Since the value is below 1.8, then, according to the requirements of the strategy, we place a bet on 3% of the bankroll, that is, on 30 rubles.
If the quote were 1.8 or more, then the size of the deal would be 15 rubles (1.5%), and provided that the odds were low on the total and would have to be combined with the option both will score, we had to bet 10 rubles (1%).
The strategy is very simple and understandable even for novice players. It does not require analysis. True, this is more a disadvantage than an advantage. The prediction is based solely on the history of the last matches. It is much more effective to combine statistics with the analysis of other factors: motivation, form, style of play, weather conditions.
